And hard to control

Very poor controls and easy isnt easy. The health and weapon bar is at the bottom which is a deal breaker. When controlling you cant see your health bar. Mortal skies or anything else is much better. Pass

Please add support for bluetooth "keyboard" controllers to give the game an a cade feel.

It takes me back to the games we played on Atari 2600 and Coleco back in the 80s. Very fun!

Vertically- scrolling shmup with graphics and bosses reminiscent of the best of the 16- bit shmups, eg r-type, blazing lazers(gunhed), darius. excellent touch. Exactly what I was looking for. Runs perfectly on iPod touch G2.

Reminds me of games like Tiger Heli and Twin Cobra! I went through my fair share of quarters in the arcade on those games let me tell ya!

This game has always been a iOS favourite of mine. Although I wish that the developers would update it to optimize the screen for iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 & 6+ screen sizes.

Game looks very nice, but its laggin badly on old 3g models. They need to separate games that require new iphone hardware to perform normally.

The guys who made this game did a pretty bad job with the controls. The response rate for my finger is way too slow. It makes the game almost non-playable and when you lift you finger up the plane inexplicably goes to the middle of the screen. The only game where I saw a decent implementation of the controls is Tyrian.

Okay first I will say that graphically this game looks beautiful on the iPhone 4, but great graphics plus sketchy controls equals a 3 star game IMO. Is it worth the .99 cents?, IDK maybe but I would like to see some updates and more responsive controls. If the devs do that then it would definitely be worth the .99 cents and I would give it 5 stars.

The graphics are really nice BUT the game is way to hard BUT thats because the controls are way to sluggish!!! Please speed up the controls! Btw touch is the only way to even try to play this game...

nothing wrong with controls, the people with bad reviews citing poor control dont realize they need to calibrate the tilt control with the angle theyre holding their device at. all shumps that use tilt controls are like that. this game is one of the best shumps for ios devices and gets dramatically better as you get farther into it. once you find your sweet spot angle to play at the rest is breezy. good intense action in the vein of the layersection 1 & 2 on sega saturn.

If you have money to buy this buy air attack. Its way more fun.
